Candle Safety

Candle Safety First: Enjoy Peace of Mind with Our Guidelines.

  • You should never leave a candle unattended while burning.
  •  Be mindful of pets and children at all times while using your candles.
  •  Keep a burning candle away from blinds and curtains.
  • Be mindful of drafts, throughout the house with open windows. This can potentially blow objects into or near a candle's open flame.
  •  Never leave your house or space while a candle is lit.
  • Trim your wicks before every burn. This will ensure the candle burns properly and this also prevents big flames.
  • If you encounter a big flame in your candle, blow it out immediately or use a candle snuffer to extinguish it.
  •  Never let a candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
  •  Always keep a candle away from flammable material.
  •  Make sure that a candle is sitting on a stable surface.
  • Do not move a candle while it is burning to prevent burns from the flame and hot wax.
  •  Never use water to extinguish a candle. Water and wax do not mix!
